Owendale Lions to serve breakfast Mar. 14

OWEN-GAGE — The Owendale Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Sunday, Mar. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Owendale- Gagetown High School cafeteria. USA sets Parent-Teacher conferences March 29-31

USA - Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences the week of March 29, 2010 - April 1, 2010.

Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 30, 2010. Letters will be sent to elementary parents and individual appointments will be set up.

Middle School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. No appointment is needed.

High School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in the high school library. No appointment is needed.

Ladies Auxiliary to host card party April 12

CASEVILLE — The F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary Caseville #3690 will host its Spring Charity Card Party, Monday, April 12, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Eagles Club located at 7071 Park St. in Caseville. Lunch will be served at noon. The event, open to the public, will include cards, door prizes, and a raffle. Proceeds will go to the University of Michigan Alzheimer’s Research Center.

Octagon Barn annual event set for April 17

CASS CITY — The Thumb Octagon Barn Annual Meeting Banquet & Auction will be Saturday, April 17 with social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. at the VFW Hall, Cass City. Attendees are asked to bring an item for the auction.

The event is R.S.V.P. only. No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $13 per person with a deadline of Saturday, April 3.

CASS CITY — Nice Twice has available women's gently-used dress clothing for job interviews, business start-ups, funerals and court appearances. The items are available at no cost by appointment at 872-1263 or (989) 551- 7803 during the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nice Twice is an outreach of the Cass City United Methodist Church in cooperation with Revive Ministries.
