The Harbor Beach Pirates came in to the USA soccer tournament hoping to see what they had for a team this year. What they came away with was a first place trophy, after slipping past Bad Axe 2-1 in the championship game. More ... Despite the fact that there were few teams in attendance for the Bad Axe Early Bird cross country race, the runners that did take part enjoyed near perfect running conditions. In the girls portion of the race, the host Hatchets ran away with top honors, placing three girls in the top four positions. More ... The North Huron Warriors have become one of the top contenders in the North Central Thumb League in recent years and this year should be no different, other than the fact that there is another opponent - in the form of Deckerville, to tangle with. Still, both the football and volleyball teams are hoping for a successful campaign and a possible run in the play-offs. More ...
