Warriors battle back in opener; lose in finals

      DECKERVILLE - It has been a good run for the North Huron boy's basketball team the past few years, and this year has been no exception. Coming off a remarkable 21-1 mark from last year, Coach Paul Empkie's squad has posted another banner season, with another 20+ win season.

Pirates roll to regional finals

      NEW HAVEN - It has been a total team effort for the Harbor Beach Pirates this season and Monday night's first-round regional game was no exception. The Pirates used a potent offensive attack to build a 20-point, second-half lead and held off Sanford-Meridian in the end, winning the contest 58-44.

     Like many of the area high school spring sports teams, the Ubly track teams took advantage of the nice weather to get in some practice time outdoors on the first day of practice for many teams.
